Challenge
Sometimes the radio connection from the outside to the inside of a large building or in very hilly terrain is difficult or only possible with an additional radio operator. LIXNET has the ideal solution for such circumstances with the EXTENSOR, an exemplary and innovative in-house development. The mobile radio case provides a remedy for connection gaps and ensures secure communication without additional personnel.
The EXTENSOR is a useful addition to the existing radio system for fire departments, as it significantly extends the range of the radio connections. This results in clearer and therefore safer communication. In addition, the risk potential for employees is significantly reduced, as an intermediary no longer needs to be positioned in the danger zone. This means that the intermediary is available for other important tasks.
But the EXTENSOR is also a valuable, often indispensable addition to existing radio equipment at events, other rescue operations or for temporary radio networks. Simple, mobile (portable), robust and reliable.
Solution
It is obvious that LIXNET AG needs practically indestructible protective and transport packaging for its EXTENSOR. The case from Kappeler, made of highly impact-resistant special plastic, fully meets the high requirements.
It has been tested for break resistance on concrete from a height of two meters, is airtight, dustproof and waterproof, temperature-stable from -33°C to +90°C, stackable and equipped with a pressure equalization valve. Its diverse accessories range from pre-punched soft foam inserts to variable compartment divisions and locks to inside pockets, document compartments and holders for intermediate panels and make it an irreplaceable companion in many areas. The all-rounder is available in 22 sizes and the standard colors black, orange and green. Certain models from the series are even equipped with wheels and a pull handle as well as a removable lid.

Solution
The mobile monitoring system can be set up and is ready for use in just a few minutes. Monitoring images, video streams and alarm data can be tracked from anywhere using mobile devices such as smartphones or laptops. The complete monitoring security is packed in a sturdy, break- and impact-resistant, lightweight transport box that meets the high requirements for outdoor use. The box is splash-proof IP 54, equipped with wheels and pull-out handle as well as a pressure compensation regulator and humidity indicator. The interior made of PE foam and welded sheet metal consists of several compartments to house the electronics and various components in a well-protected manner. The camera/sensor head is mounted in an external bracket using rods.
