Swiss Post offers comprehensive logistics solutions for companies in the healthcare sector. Swiss Post has a drop-off and pick-up point agreement with over 250 hospitals throughout Switzerland. The night logistics solution “Innight Medica” enables overnight delivery until 6 a.m. at the latest. Delivery can be made directly to the operating room if requested.
The most important requirements for reusable transport packaging for surgical implants, instruments and medical devices are optimal transport and safe protection of the contents - of course, no unnecessary packaging material should be used. Stable, lightweight transport boxes made of impact-, scratch- and break-proof plastic are best suited for this. The boxes are stackable, splash-proof and chemical-resistant and are equipped with secure closures, folding handles, a sealing device and an address holder. The interior fittings consist either of modular plastic inserts with subdivisions or of PE foam inlays with precisely contoured recesses.
